XIONG Jian-guang, CHENG Zheng-wei, WU Juan, YUAN Ting, DU Jin-long. Digestive System Department of Xianyang Central Hospital, Xianyang, Hubei 437100, China
OBJECTIVE To investigate the sleeping status of inpatients in Digestive System Department, and analyze the risk factors of sleeping, so as to provide reference for the sleeping status among patients. METHODS PSQI was used to investigate the sleeping status of patients, and the general characteristics, disease status, night treatment and economic burden were investigated. RESULTS Among 288 patients, the score of PSQI was (9.77 ± 3.41) , 36.81% with better sleeping and 63.19% without. The sleeping status was associated to nausea, vomit and pain during the night, while not related to sex, age, occupation and education level. The incidence of nausea, vomit and pain during the night in the better sleeping group was significantly higher than those in bad sleeping group. There was significant difference in the economic burden between the two groups (P﹤ 0.05). CONCLUSION The sex, age, occupation and education level have no association with sleeping status, and nausea, vomit and pain are associated to the sleeping. We should give strategies for the influencing factors of sleeping.
