Near Infrared Spectroscopy is bring on a Revolution in Enhancing Analytical Efficiency

Yuan Hongfu Lu wanzhen (Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, Beijing 100083)  
The near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) technique's principle and the characteristics to enhance obviously the efficiency of routine analysis are introduced. Some application in refinery industry and agriculture are used for illustrating a fact that a great economic and social benefit can be obtained from the NIR technique's applications in various area.
