Recent Development of Chemical Modification Technique in Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

The chemical modification technique is a useful means of on-line chemical processing.The characteristics of this technique are not only utilizing the advantages of routine chemistry method which can remove matrix interference and increase analytical sensitivity,but also can avoid its some disadvantages such as taking time,easy-to contamination and loss of determined element.The histurical course of this technique was run back over briefly and its recent development was introduced generally in this paper.The contents include introduction, extensively used chemical modifiers,such as metal chemical modifiers,phosphate chemical modifiers,organic compoud modifiers and composite chemical modifiers,as well as action mechanism of chemical modifiers and conclusion. 110 references were cited.
