Detection of Faint Magnetic Signal in Geomagnetic Disturbance

The correlativity of three component of geomagnetic disturbance measured by 3-axes magnetometer is investigated.According to the correlativity,a method based on wavelet decomposition to eliminate the geomagnetic disturbance signal in magnetic measurement is brought forward.Using this method,the faint object signal hided in the geomagnetic disturbance can be extracted.The result of simulation based on real geomagnetic disturbance data indicates that the method is effective.
