The Use of Image Analysis Technique in Diagnosis of Glomerulonephritis

Objective To study the change of types Ⅲ and Ⅳ collagen in MsPGN and the value of computer image analysis technique in the diagnosis of MsPGN.Method Clinically diagnosed as patients with MsPGN were divided into three groups:mild,moderate and advanced.Ten patients were taken in random from each group and been composed of test group 1,2,3 respectively and three cases of normal kidney tissue were selected as control.All the 33 specimens underwent imaging analysis and indirected immunofluoroscope.Results There were significant differences(P0.05) between the moderate and the normal groups and between the advanced and the normal groups in Massons green staining,and significant difference(P0.05) between the advanced and the normal groups in PASMs black staining.For indirect immunofluoroscope,type Ⅲ collagen was only presented in the moderate and advanced groups and type Ⅳ collagen was gradually increased with the progress of disease,while in normal group,the former was absent,the latter was a little.Conclusions The types Ⅲ and Ⅳ collagen play a role in pathogenesis and the progress of MsPGN.The diagnosis of glomerulonephritis by computer image analysis technique had a clinical value.
