Study on the Covering Technology of Oolong Tea Garden by Shading Net

Field experiments were conducted to test the effects of shading on ecology, physiology and biochemistry by covering with black shading net in tea field in summer season.The results showed that compared with control,the average temperature of daytime,maximum temperature and temperature difference in the canopy in the shading treatments decreased by 1.47~4.42℃,3.95~7.26℃ and 3.33~8.44℃ respectively,relative humidity of daytime and the daily minimum relative humidity in the canopy were respectively increased by 4.31%~12.31% and 3.27%~12.62%.As the relative humidity difference were reduced by 3.58%~~12.94% .Compared with control,moisture content of shoots with three-leaves and a bud in summer and hot season increased by ~4.57% ~6.47% and 2.24%~2.78%respectively.The total content of chlorophyll in leaves increased by 0.598 3~0.701 9 mg/dm2 in summer,and 0.348 0~0.605 0 mg/dm2 in hot season,which were 41.70%~48.92% and 52.38%~91.06% over the control respectively.Similarly,chlorophyll a by 38.96%~47.25% and 50.94%~72.52%,while chlorophyll b by 43.83%~54.58% and ~67.98% ~155.81%.After shading,the contents of tea polyphenols, crude cellurose and caffeine in fresh leaves are all obviously reduced,while the contents of amonia acid in fresh leaves are obviously improved.Moderate shading could improve the quality and o the yield f Oolong tea.
