Design radiation mode sensor using PVDF film

A new technique to improve on radiation modes is developed, by which radiation mode shapes are of frequency independent at middle and low frequencies. With an example of vibrating beam, the adjoint coefficient of the radiation modes can be measured by using shaped PVDF sensor. The experimental results show that this new type of radiation mode sensor is available.
