THE AGES AND THE GENETIC TYPES OF THE GRANITES IN THE NURT AREA, ALTAY

YUAN Feng, ZHOU Tao-fa, YUE Shu-cang (Department of Resources and Environmental Science, Hefei University of Technology, An抙ui Hefei, 230009,China)  
The Nurt area is located in the north of Altay, at the southwest of the Siberia plate. The granites formed at late Caledonian stage, middle Hercynian stage and late Hercynian stage are widely exposed and some formed at Yanshanian stage in the Nurt area.The studies on petrology, petrochemistry, rare earth element and isotopes show that the granites are belong to the transitional series to S type. The source material of the granites are different from that of the S type granite in the Nurt area because the genetic material include the Earth's mantle material.
