For the exploration and development, the understanding of fluid properties and its affecting factors in target area is very important, especially for the identification and predication of the pore fluids at depth using seismic data. Based on the published literature in existence, the paper investigates the characteristic of the velocity variations of oil, gas, brine and its mixtures, at same time, analyzes the effect on velocities of oil, gas and water deeply. The result shows that the velocities of oil, gas, water and their mixture decrease as temperature increases, the velocities increase as pressure increases. The effect of different fluid properties on mixed velocity is relatively large and small on shear velocity. The velocity of gas and water mixture is smallest; largest for the mixture of oil and water. The velocity of oil and gas mixture or oil, gas and water mixture have medium values bounded by the smallest and largest limitation approximately.
