Anatomical Studies On Ten Xerophytes and Halophytes in Xinjiang

In this paper we have observed and studied ten xerophytes and halophytes about their anatomical structure in Xinjiang.The results show that these plants have typical xeromorphic and halomorphic structure.The basic tracts are:On the surface of leavs ,there are epidermal hairs,glandular hairs,thick cuticle and sunken stomata;Some Leaves have been reduced to scale formed,and assimilating branchestak place of its function to carry out photosynthesis;The leaves have Well developed palisade tissues and reduced spongy tissues;Mucilage cells and crystal cells lie in the mesophyllous tissue;There are thicker cortex cells,developed vascular bundles and water storing parenchyma cells in stem and assimilating branch.
