The Development Status of Teacher Data Literacy in the United States and Its Inspiration to China

With the application advance of big data technology in the field of education and teaching, the era of data-driven teaching has arrived. As core participators in the data-driven teaching era, teachers not only requires solid professional skills but also good data literacy. Based on the discussion on the connotation and value of teachers' data literacy, the paper focused on the developmental context, theoretical basis and developmental framework of teachers' data literacy in the United States. Meanwhile, its enlightenment to the development of teacher data literacy in China was explored, which included governments playing a leading role, regions coordinating resource allocation, schools building data environment, teachers training data awareness, expecting to provide useful reference for the development of domestic teachers' data literacy.
