The Spatial Distribution and the Application of Larva of Paranthere tabaniformis Rattom in Xinjiang

In this article, the distribution forms of the larva of Paranthere tabaniformis Raitom in four types of poplars in the northern part of Xinjiang were tested with Gathering Degree Index and Frequenuy Distribution and the form found to be gathering. Meanwhile the living larva in three of the four type trees were found to accord with the Negative binominal distribution and Neyman distrbution. Application rescariher were made on the investigation methods on the damage cansed by paranthere tabaniformis Rattom, the theoretical sampling number and the guidance of its protection and cure.
