Establishment and Application of Indirect ELISA to Detect Bovine Rotavirus Antibody

Indirect ELISA examination for bovine natural-occurred rotavirus infection and monitoring the antibody after inoculation with inactivated rotaviral vaccine was developed in this paper.Bovine rotavirus CHLY was used as the diagnostic antigen.The natural-occurred rotavirus infection in the field was 32.91%(26/79).The antibody peak was found between the 40~60 d after inoculation.The samples of feces and sera collected from calves can be applied in the method.This ELISA system was more sensitive and time saving and was one of successful methods for the BRV epidemiological investigation and the development of new rotaviral vaccine.
