A STUDY OF THE CONSTRUCTIVE RELATIONSHIP OF SELF - IDENTITY STATUS ANDEXPERIENTIAL TIME PERSPECTIVE

With the scale of self - identity status and thescale of experimential time perspective, 641 collegestudents' psychological frameworks were measuredfrom the time perspective. The result showed that,there were two statuses of self-identity: acbievementand diffusion, with differences in being positive ornegative in terms of the subjects' time perspective onthe past, present, predictable future and ideal future;with respect to their time perspective, the constructiveinterpretation of the former was clear, whi1e that ofthe latter was confusing. This result primarily verifiedthe conclusion that self- identity status played a roleof integration in the experimential time perspective.
