A Comparative Study of the Results of Working Memory and the Reading of Scientific Essays of College Students with Different Cognitive Flexibility

In this research we used the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test. According to the test results, two groups, of high and low cognitive flexibility were divided into. Meanwhi le we tested the working memory and the reading of scientific essays of the co llege students. The results indicate: (1) Cognitive flexibility h as higher relation to working memory. The higher the results of college studen ts in cognitive flexibility, the better the results in the reading of scientific essays; the lower the results of college students in cognitive flexibility, th e worse their reading results. (3) Working Memory has higher relation to the rea ding of scientifc a nd tech nology essays and it reaches a very significent level.
