Analysis of Effective Components in Clausena lansium Extract and Its Application in Tobacco

The application of Clausena lansium extract in tobacco had been studied. The extract was obtained by ethanol extraction method,while the relative mass contents of sugars,organic acids in the extract were detected by HPLC. The volatile and semi-volatile components in extract were analyzed by SPME-GC / MS technique. The results suggested that:( 1) The relative mass contents of fructose,glucose and sucrose were 9. 78%,7. 50% and 16. 74% respectively; the relative mass contents of oxalic acid,malic acid and citric acid were 0. 02%,0. 34% and 3. 53% respectively.( 2) 47 kinds of volatile components were identified in Clausena lansium extract,the main components including β-sesquiphellandrene( 2. 337%),bergamotol( 1. 818%),γ-terpinene( 1. 665%) and α-terpinene( 1. 653%).( 3) The Clausena lansium extract had the functions of reducing tobacco offensive taste,improving dry sense of smoke and increasing tobacco sweet sensation. It could be used in tobacco flavoring.
