Numerical Analysis of Phase Capture in Electron Cyclotron Resonance Maser

On the basis of numerical calculation and simulation of interaction between electron and electromagnetic wave in a cylindrical gyrotron, the saturation mechanism analysis about phase capture in Electron Cyclotron Resonance Maser (ECRM) has been carried out. The analysis indicates that the mechanism is associated with the amplitude and the interaction length, and the efficiency can be improved by adjusting these parameters.
