Analysis of Genetic Diversity by SSR Molecular Markers for 60 Maize Inbred Lines

By SSR molecular marker,the genetic diversity and heterosis groups were classified for 60 corn inbred lines. The results showed that there were 144 clear bands be amplified by applying 42 pairs of primes for 60 corn inbred lines,each pair of primes can produce the average of 3. 43 bands,ranging from 2 to7 pieces. And the variance range of genetic similarity coefficient of SSR markers were 0. 518- 0. 978 among the inbred lines. The final results showed that 60 lines can be divided into 9 groups,which was approximately in accordance with the comprehensive characters of these inbred lines. so it also suggested that the temperate germplasm × tropical germplasm was the main model of heterosis utilization in the experiment.
