ON THE SUB-SYMMETRIC AND THE SUB-SKEW SYMMETRIC MATRICES

Qin Zhao-hua
Definition:A square matrix of order n A= (aij) is called a sub-symmetric (or sub-skew symmetric) , if aij = an-j+1,n-i+1 (or aij = -an-j+1,n-i+1) , (i,j = 1, 2, ..., n ) .In this paper, we discuss the properties of the sub-symmetric and the sub-skew symmetric matrices, and the relations between them.
