Observing and Analyzing the Blossom and Fragrance Habits of Jing Guan's Chimononthus praecox (Linn.) Link

Through preliminary study on the blossom and fragrance habits of Chimononthus praecox(Linn.)Link from 2004 to 2005,it showed that the florescence was little longer lasting three monthes commonly and the peak period was little shorter only lasting 15days or so.There was an irregular law of blossom,but more flowers were blossoming forth correspondingly from 9:00am to 1:00pm with 10 ℃.It emited the most aroma when blossoming barely similar to others,then it was keeping on doing so whith blossoming until it withered.Buds couldn't blossom forth completely apart from trees,but flesh flowers could emit aroma continuously and was longer than others lasting 5days or so.
