Study on Installation Error Calibration Model Simulation of Star Sensor

The attitude determination precision of strap-down star sensor restrict by its installation error, w hich must be calibrated and compensated. Based on analyses the coupling relationship betw een attitude and installation error of star sensor,a new static calibration approach using star sensor output data has been discussed and the procedure of the installation error calculation w as given. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach can calibrate installation error at high precision,and the attitude determination precision can be improved after compensation,has the theoretic and practical benefits for star sensor application.
