Numerical Simulation of Wind Fine Structure Around Airport Terminal Area

Numerical simulation of the wind field in the airport terminal area was realized.By adopting multiple layers of nested methods,the resolution of the WRF model was improved.Shanghai Pudong airport terminal area was selected to be a case for the numerical simulation of wind field,and the process of wind shear around Pudong airport was simulated.The results show that numerical simulation can extract the characteristics of wind shear according with the detection of the wind profile radar.The effectiveness of this numerical simulation method of the airport terminal area wind fine structure was validated.The space-time resolution of the numerical simulation is higher than the wind profiler radar detection.
