An Event Driven Based Job Shop Scheduling Simulation System

Analytical models are usually not suitable for FMS scheduling.In this paper,an event driven simulation model is presented,and more details are given along with the rolling horizon scheduling strategy.With this simulation model the job shop rescheduling problem in the dynamic environment, in which jobs arrive continuously,machine breakdown and repair may appear and due date of jobs may be changed during processing,is studied.And the simulation result is also given in the end.
