A Preliminary Discussion on the “Net-Shanghai”

In this paper the great significance of the informatization for the human development is understood via the theoretical deduction with features of the current era. It is pointed out that the informatization is the necessary way for the further development of Shanghai. In the informatization process in Shanghai, the great attention must be paid to the integration of the information networks and the correspondent substantial networks. i.e. the integration of the “virtual” and “substantial” networks in short. The Shanghai on the basis of the above integration is called as the “Net\|Shanghai” in this paper. It is suggested to promote to construct the “Net\|Shanghai” with a big effort for obtaining the system fusion effect with 1+12 and higher comprehensive efficiency and benefits, thereby to accelerate the development of Shanghai and to go up a new step of the economic and social development.
