Method of Equipment Cost Estimation Based on the Fusion of GA and BP Algorithms

Genetic algorithm(GA), back-propagation (BP)algorithm and traditional methods of equipment cost estimation and analysis are introduced briefly. Necessity of integrating genetic algorithm, back-propagation algorithm and cost estimation is analyzed. The genetic algorithm and back-propagation algorithm are integrated and applied to the equipment cost estimation and analysis. The estimation model for air-defense missile development based on the GA-BP neural network is established, and the developing cost of the typical air-defense missile is estimated. The results show that this model has the advantages of high estimation accuracy, extensive applications and high operational speed, which has provided a effective basis for the estimation of the equipmen cost.
