Detection and parameters estimation of direct sequence spread spectrum signals based on Duffing oscillators

Detection of direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) signals is usually carried out through acquiring some characters of the signals according to some algorithms,and these characters are usually periodic.Then these characteristic messages can be detected by making use of Duffing oscillator's sensibility to small periodic signals and immunity against noise.Taking carrier detection of DSSS/BPSK signals as an example,a good detection performance is obtained and the estimated values of amplitude,carrier frequency and phase of the signal are given.Simulation results show that the DSSS/BPSK signal with SNR to-38.35dB can be detected by the method.
