Design and realization of laser ranging system based on SOPC

Introduces a realization method for high precision laser ranging system on the basis of System-on-a-Programmable-Chip(SOPC)technology.Taking SOPC system as the core of laser ranging system for signal processing and control,this system can measure multiple targets of the same direction with high-precision in a single measurement.The design approach of this system results from a system-level circuit,which can realize the customization of this system through Quartus Ⅱ and SOPC Builder.Multiple echoes can be captured through the internal system of 32-bit timer.Compared with the conventional ranging system,this one has several advantages,such as high-speed data acquisition and real-time data transmission,high integration,high reliability and small measurement errors.In addition,multiple targets can be simultaneously measured.Therefore,it is a good laser ranging system for wide application.
