Experimental study on mechanics and frost resistance of concrete with phosphorus slag

The effect of different content of phosphorus slag on the hydration heat and compressive strength of concrete was studied based on the active effect of phosphorus slag. The frost resistance characteristics of concrete with phosphorus slag were studied by slow freezing method. The effect of phosphorus slag on the pore structure of concrete was investigated by mercury in-trusion porosimetry. The results show that with the increase of phosphorus slag content,the hydration heat of concrete decreases.The compressive strength first increases then decreases, compressive strength of concrete with 20% phosphorus slag is the highest.The porosity of concrete without phosphorus slag,the porosity of concrete with 20% phosphorus slag,the porosity of concrete with40% phosphorus slag were 26.6%,21.7% and 30.9% when curing for 60 d,respectively. The porosity of concrete with 40% phosphorus slag increased from 30.9% to 41.3% after freeze-thaw 120 cycles.
