Authoritative Complexity Measure for Classes

Software measurement is one of important research domains of software engineering. It effects cost of software development and maintenance. Till now,researchers have proposed lots of cohesion and couple measures. However very little work is involved in meausring classes' authority. This paper put forward a method of measuring class authority based on the relationships among classes,in which classe's authority is defined from class diagram iteratly. Then we prove that this measure has minimum and maximum values by virtute of linear algebra. Finally,a small but realistic example is illustrated.
