INTERMITTENT PID CONTROLLER BASED ON FUZZY FORECAST

XU Sixin LI Qi HE Ju (Research Institute of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing 210018)  
This paper proposes a controller with variable controlling period which combines fuzzy forecast with intermittent PID controller. According to fuzzy forecast for future error and error rate of regulated object, we choose properly the control period of intermittent PID controller, which is beneficial to improve dynamic characteristic with long dead time process Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
