Effects of the placental immunoregulation polypeptide on immunone function in radiotherapy mice

To research the imunological function of the placental immunoregulation polypeptide(PIP) on radiotherapy mice.Method The radiotherapeutic model of mice were established by eo irradiation, and the number of leucocyte, the phagocyt function, antibody formation cell (AFC), spleen weight index, lymphocyte transformation stimulating index in radiotheraptatic mouse treated with PIP were detedted and compared with that of radiotherapy mice treated with thymosin.Result PIP increased the amount of leucocytes obviously, raised the phagocytic functcon of phagocyte up to 70% and phagocytic index to 2. 7in therapeutic mice, PIP increased the level of AFC and spleen weight index in the therapentic mice. PIP raised the rate of lymphocyte transformation. Meantime some immune index were superior to effects of thymosin.Conclusions PIP enhanced the immunological function of the radiotherapeutic mouse significanly, and it's effects was similar to thymosin.
