Effects of Light-intensity and Temperature on the Basic Life Activity of the Cistoclemmys Flavomarginata Gray

Some ecological factors was studied,such as light-intensity,the temperature,on the basic life activity of the Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray.Our results showed that:when light-intensity was lower than 400 lx,the activating and daily feeding of Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray was as much as usual.With the enhancement of the Light-intensity,its outside activity were reduces gradually,when the Light-intensity was went beyond the limites of 4 500 lx,its activities stopped basically,Light intensity have a significant impact to the Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray of daily feeding amoune and body weight increase.Along with the gradual weakening of light intensity,the Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray food consumption gradually increased,the growth speed.Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray are extremely sensitive to temperature changes,when the temperature is 26~31 ℃,The Cistoclemmys flavomarginata gray have the volume of the activities and strong appetite.When temperature was lower than 25 ℃ or higher than 32 ℃,its activities reduced obviously,when the temperature was lower than 18 ℃ or higher than 33 ℃,its activities basically stopped,Temperature dropped to below 12 ℃ its into hibernation
