Characterization of Silver Nanoparticles Biosynthesized using Crude Polysaccharides of Rubus idaeus and Their Antioxidant Activities

Silver nanoparticles(PAgNPs) were green synthesized using crude polysaccharides from Rubus idaeus.extracts and AgNO_3 solution. The obtained PAgNPs were characterized by UV-Vis absorption spectrum,scanning electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). Also,the antioxidant properties of the obtained PAgNPs were assessed in vitro,using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) and 2,2'-azinobis(3-ethylbenzthiazino-6-sulphonic acid)(ABTS) radical cation decolorization test. The result indicates that the obtained PAgNPs regular spheres with an average size of 20 ~ 32 nm and a maximum absorbance at 435 nm. Moreover,PAgNPs exhibited a high radical scavenging activity for DPPH and ABTS+,half radical scavenging activities(IC_(50)) of 64.38 mg/L and 75.86 mg/L,respectively.
