Discussion on the Therapy of Insomnia from the Bladder Meridian

The bladder meridian circulates along the back of the body and it the leader of the six yang meridians,belonging to yang within yang.The bladder meridian meets many other meridians and correlates closely to brain-spirit,five organ shu,governor meridian.It is the hub of qi and blood flowing in meridians and organs.Adjusting the bladder meridian can regulate qi-blood,making yin and yang in equilibrium,harmonizing five organs,and calming the spirit.This paper states the relationship between the bladder meridian and insomnia from different angles concerning with traditional Chinese and western medicine.
