Effect of levothyroxine sodium tablets and thyroid tablets on thyroid hormones,liver function and adverse reactions in patients with hypothyroidism

CHEN Jiao;Department of Endocrinology,Liyang People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province;
Objective To analyze effect of levothyroxine sodium tablets and thyroid tablets on thyroid hormone,liver function and adverse reactions in thyroid patients. Methods A total of 30 patients were divided into control group( n = 15) and observation group( n = 15) using paired comparison method,given thyroid tablets,and levothyroxine sodium tablets,respectively. Thyroid hormone,liver function,incidence of adverse reactions of two groups were compared. Results NO significant differences were observed in thyroid hormone( thyroid stimulating hormone,free triiodothyronine,free thyroxine),and liver function( total bilirubin,glutamate amino transferase,aspartate amino transferase) before treatment in two groups,but these indicators in the observation group were better than that in the control group( P 0. 05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups showed significant difference( P 0. 05). Conclusion Levothyroxine sodium tablets are favorable in improving thyroid hormone,reducing incidence of adverse reactions,and has less impact on liver function versus traditional thyroid tablets.
