EFFECTS OF 1-THP, 1-SPD AND THB ON MYOCARDIAL BLOOD FLOW AND CARDIAC OXYGEN OCNSUMPTION IN DOGS

Experiments on anesthetized dogs showed that 1-tetrahydropalmatine (1-THP, 10 mg/kg, iv ) , 1-stepholidine ( 1-SPD, 10 mg/kg, iv ) and letrahy-droberberine ( THE, 3 mg/kg, iv ) increased myocardial blood f low ( by 99, 72 and 231% respectively ) and decieased coronary resistance ( 48, G3, 68% ) and cardiac oxygen consumption (38, 31, 23% ). They also caused drop of blood pressure for more than 1 hour. The heart rate was slightly slowed by these drugs, but the change was not significant.
