Experimental Study of Workshop Mode Embedded in English Translation Teaching

With the integration of globalization, the economic and scientific communication has strengthened among different countries, social demand for more qualified and inter-disciplinary translation talents is increasing. Under this situation, translation teaching has experienced constant exploration and reforms,and therefore translation workshop teaching mode has come out. This paper firstly introduces the research background of Translation Workshop at home and abroad and theoretical basis of task driven, then it puts emphasis on illustrating the experiment about how translation workshop works in English translation teaching,which lasts for one academic year. Finally the conclusion is made and proves the validity of the translation workshop in English translation teaching. The paper aims to enlighten the teaching reforms for English translation course.
