Objective To determine the effect of globin oligopeptide on porcine aortic endothelial cells(PAEC) of endothelin1(ET-1) secretion levels. Methods ELISA method was used. Results The endothelin content was 18.1 μg/ml while the porcine aortic endothelial cells under normal culture. After the globin oligopeptide components Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴwas cultured for 48 h,the level of ET decreased by 13.9%,13.1%,15.2%,17.7%.Conclusion Among 5 oligopeptide components that obtained after peptone hydrolyzates of globin protein chromatographic separated by SephadexLH-20 column, the components Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ can inhibit ET-1secretion of the PAEC.
