Implementation of Digital Amplitude Modulation Based on FPGA

Nowadays,digital AM modulation technology is used more and more widely,which is realized by a dedicated chip in most specific application.This paper presented a method of digital AM modulation using FPGA.The system used the method is flexible,extensible,and easy to integrate.A simulation model created by Matlab Simulink was introduced and then the implementation and validation in FPGA were discussed.Experimental results show that the system can realize AM modulation.Meanwhile,this method has already been applied in practical applications and all the performance indicators meet the design requirement.
