Experimental Study on the Application of Micro-Nano Calcium Hydroxide in Deacidification of Wooden Relics from the Sea

Sulfur or iron sulfide compounds are commonly found in wooden relics from ocean, which are oxidized into acid in the air after excavations, and result in acid degradation of wood. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out deacidification treatment. In order to analyze and evaluate the deacidification effect of micro-nano calcium hydroxide, this paper takes the shipwrecks Quanzhou Bay shipwreck of Song Dynasty shipwreck as an object of study and application, carrying out deacidification experiments on modern wood, ancient ship wood and hull parts, comparing the change of wood surface pH, hardness, and chroma before and after the acid treatment, and the corresponding experimental results are obtained.
