Experimental Study on Extermination of Peste in Cultural Relics with Oxygen Control System

In order to study the effect of the atmospheric pressure and low oxygen-regulating insecticidal system on common pests of cultural relics, the experiment was conducted using the black fur larvae provided by the National Institute of Archives Science and Technology. During the hypoxic insecticidal action on cultural relics, we also used experimental worm specimens to simulate the low-oxygen killing. The test results show that the atmospheric pressure and low oxygen regulation insecticide method has a good killing effect on the black fur mites larvae. It further demonstrated the safety, feasibility, effectiveness and universal applicability of the low oxygen controlled atmosphere insecticidal method in the field of insecticide of organic cultural relics in the library.
