Preparation of Nano-CuO

SUN Shao-xue~(1),YUAN Guan-ming~(1,2),DONG Zhi-jun~(1,2 ),LIU Xiu-ran~(1),LI Xuan-ke~(1,2)(1 .College of Chemical Engineering, Resources and Environment, Wuhan University of Science and Technology,Wuhan 430081, China;2.Hubei Refractories and High-temperature Ceramics Key Laboratory,Wuhan University of Science and Technology,Wuhan 430081, China)  
Using Cu(NO_(3))_(2) ethanol solution and Cu(OH)_(2) sol as precursors respectively, the nanosized CuO products were prepared by a supercritical drying method. The particle size, morphology and structure of the products were characterized by XRD and TEM analyses. The results show that the diameter of the nanoparticles is within the range of 20~40 nm. The particle size of CuO powder prepared by adjusting the pH value of precursor sol using ammonia is smaller.
