Synthesis of CuO/C and its removal of NO in flue gas

By using lignite as the raw material,the activated semi-coke was prepared by carbonization and activation methods.Then CuO/C catalyst was prepared by loading CuO on the activated semicoke with hydrothermal method.The crystal texture and microstructure were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)technology,etc.At the same time,the influencing factors of the CuO/C catalyst on removal of NO from simulated flue gas were analyzed.The results show that the activated semi-coke is rich in oxygen-containing functional groups and thus is a superior catalyst carrier and reducing agent.When the CuO/C catalyst is prepared under 120 ℃for 2h,a relatively large number of CuO crystals are grown on the surface of activated semi-coke,which is well dispersive with small size.When the reaction temperature of C-NO is 2 5 0 ℃,space velocity is19 200h~(-1),oxygen concent is 4%,the preparation temperature and time are 120 ℃ for 2h respectively,the CuO/C catalyst has a good effect on the removal of NO and its denitrification rate can reach95.26%.
