Difference of Two Blood Collecting Methods on Blood Biochemical Indicators and Blood Routine Test of SD Rats

Objective To investigate the difference in blood biochemical indicators and blood routine test of SD rats using two blood collecting methods under stress and in narcosis. Methods Male and female SD rats,3weeks old,were randomly divided into 20 groups with 20 rats in each. After fed for 30 days and fasted for 16 hours,10 groups' rats were sacrificed immediately under stress and another 10 groups' rats were sacrificed after anesthesia. Fourteen indicators of blood routine test and blood biochemical indicators were determined,such as WBC,RBC,and HGB,etc. Results There were differences in10 indicators above between rats sacrificed under stress and after anesthesia. Conclusion It is important in toxicological safety evaluation to investigate differences between blood indicators of rats sacrificed under stress and indicators of rats sacrificed after anesthesia.
