The Remote Sensing Analysis and Evaluation of Planthopper Harm on 2006 in Jingzhou City

According to comparison of NDVI changes of normal years(2001、2005) with planthopper year(2006),that the average NDVI values from heading to mature stage are significantly lower than normal years.The reason is related to the planthopper number per hundred shoots;the planthopper harmfulness classification according to this rule is put forward.This is a new way to calculate the planthopper harmfulness.
