The B-Basis Value of the Flexural Strength of Triangle-Shape Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics

TCF (Triangle-Shape Carbon Fiber) is a kind of new carbon fiber.Its special cross-section endows it with different characteristics from circle-shape carbon fiber reinforced plastics.A statistical method for composites strength,including detection of outliers,k-sample Anderson-Darling test,estimation of the shape and size parameters of a Weibull distribution,goodness-of-fit test is introduced.The B-basis value of the flexural strength of TCFRP (Triangle-Shape Carbon Fiber Renforced Platics) is investigated by mathematical statistic method and calculated by MATLAB.The mechanical properties of triangle-shape carbon fibers reinforced plastics are obtained.The B-basis value is 1417.2 MPa.The result will be helpful for the usage of TCFRP.
