Grafting polymerization of PP oil absorption materials with LMA initiated by cold plasma

The modifying process of melt-blown PP non-woven fabric is carried out by low temperature plasma treatment combined with LMA polymerization. The effect of solvent on the grafting rate is studied. The optimum liquid grafting condition is obtained through orthogonal experiment and single factor analysis. The results show that LMA monomers are grafted onto the surface of PP material. The modified PP material has excellent oil adsorption and oil retention, and the mechanical property of the fabric is not affected.
