Study on Germination Experiments of Angelica Dahurica Seeds

Objective: To observe the effect of culture condition on the germination of Angelica dahurica seeds. Methods: The effect of pre-treatment methods, illumination condition, germination bed and culture temperature on the germination of Angelica dahurica seeds was compared. Results:(1) 75% ethanol for 1 min soak is the best pre-treatment methods. (2) Dark conditions priming accelerated seeds germination significantly. (3) The germination rate of the seeds on moist sterile germination special paper was higher than it on other germination beds. (4) The optimal temperature for the seeds germination was at 15 ℃ (16 hours), during the day and 25 ℃ (8 hours). Conclusion: Angelica dahurica can improve conditions for seed germination rate is 75% ethanol pre-treatment, 15～25 ℃ temperature, sterile moist germination paper in darkness for special.
