Narcissism Leadership and Knowledge Subordinates' Innovation Performance

Through literature review,it constructed the model of narcissistic leadership on innovation performance,and explored the mediating effect of innovation intention and the moderating effect of task complexity. It used 654 data of knowledge workers to verify the hypotheses. The results show that narcissistic leadership has positive impact on innovation performance; narcissistic leaderhip affects innovation performance through innovation intention; task complexity plays a moderating role on the relationship between narcissistic leadership and knowledge subordinates' innovation performance,and also on the relationship between innovation intention and innovation performance. In addition,it also finds that the impacts of narcissism leadership are different on the different gender subordinates' innovation intention and innovation performance.
