Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Younger Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation by Traction and Electroacupuncture

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with traction therapy on lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in young people.Method:From December 2015 to December 2017,120 cases of youth lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion patients in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(60 cases) and the control group(60 cases),the control group by traction treatment,the observation group by the traction treatment and electroacupuncture treatment at the same time.The improvement of symptoms and clinical efficacy were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Result:The total effective rate was 90% in the observation group and 63% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the groups of pain and lumbar function evaluation before treatment,and the VAS and ODI scores of the observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Traction combined with electroacupuncture has a significant effect on lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in young people.
